This is the general privacy policy of Dostum Amigo SLU. It covers our website, IT services, software projects, automation work and the mobile apps we publish.

Dostum Amigo SLU ("Dostum Amigo", "we", "us") — full legal name DOSTUM AMIGO SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA, CIF B6188499 — is a company registered in Spain. 2. What this policy covers
This policy describes how we handle personal data in the following contexts:
- Website visitors — people browsing dostumamigo.com.
- IT services clients — businesses we provide IT support, infrastructure or consulting to.
- Software development projects — clients and stakeholders involved in custom software work.
- Automation services — clients we build automation workflows for.
- Mobile apps — users of apps published by Dostum Amigo SLU under the Dostum Amigo brand.
Each app we publish has its own app-specific privacy policy with the details for that app. The app-specific policies sit alongside this general policy and take precedence on any topic where they go into more detail.
3. Information we may collect
From website visitors
- Basic technical information your browser sends — IP address, user agent, referrer — used for security and aggregate analytics.
- Information you choose to provide via contact forms, mailto links or email (your name, email, message).
From clients of our IT, software and automation services
- Business contact details (name, role, email, phone, company).
- Project-related information needed to scope and deliver the work, including limited access to systems we are asked to build, integrate with or maintain.
- Billing details where applicable.
When we are given access to a client's systems or data, we act as a processor on the client's behalf, under the agreement signed for the project. We process that data only for the purposes of the engagement.
From users of our mobile apps
Each app collects only what it needs to function. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use app data to build advertising profiles. App-specific details are explained in the per-app privacy policy listed in section 2.
4. Why we process this information (legal bases)
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the IT, software, automation, web or mobile-app services requested.
- Legitimate interests — to operate and secure our website, prevent abuse, and respond to inquiries.
- Consent — where required, for example for non-essential cookies or marketing emails.
- Legal obligations — e.g. tax, accounting, and certain commercial-law record-keeping.
5. How long we keep information
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Project files and contractual records are retained for the legally required period in Spain. Inquiry emails are kept for as long as is reasonable to handle and follow up on the inquiry.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with carefully selected providers used to operate our business — for example, hosting, email, accounting and analytics — under contracts that bind them to confidentiality and applicable data-protection laws. Where a service is provided as part of a client engagement, we share information only with parties the client has authorised.
7. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA — for example because a service provider hosts data in another country — we rely on the legal mechanisms recognised by EU law (such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses).

This website uses only the technical means needed to deliver pages. If we add cookies for analytics or other non-essential purposes in the future, we will request consent first where required by law.
10. Security
We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal data we hold — including access controls, encryption in transit, regular updates and the principle of least privilege.
11. Children
Our services and apps are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Material changes will be highlighted at the top.
